Okay, I admit it: I purchased a pre-made bottle of sauce rather han making my own. It was probably more expensive and less healthy. But it enticed me! It wasn't my fault!! I had a coupon!!! [insert more excuses here]!!!! I also had a recipe that called for it in a conveniently commercial calendar full of recipes calling for specific products. And, might I add, full of handy cupons for things I would normally be too cheap to buy. As it turned out, the meal was tasty and easy. Sometimes, it's okay to let the cupons win out. This makes 2 modest servings.

Spicy Stir-Fry With Rice, Vegetables, and Leftover Pork
This stir-fry was simple but had a real kick to it. I love making things like this because it uses up a bunch of leftovers that might otherwise wilt and become inedible. This carries well, so don't be afraid to make it for a lunch you have to take with you.

Fried Rice with Cauliflower
I really liked this: it was simple, easy to make, and tasty. The cauliflower retained some of it's crunch, and that was nice. As a rule I don't like firm cauliflower, but I'm now willing to make exceptions.
I'm not sure it needed as much oil as I used.

Dr Pepper Chicken and Green Bean Stir-Fry with Fried Rice
This was pretty good, though I have to admit the sauce is a tiny bit surprising. You have to get used to it...even though it's good, there's something the tiniest bit odd about it. I made this stir-fry because I had leftover Dr Pepper glaze and didn't know what to do with it. A good cooking rule-of-thumb is 'when in doubt, stir fry!'

Orange-Sesame Beef Stir-Fry
This little experiment turned out quite well! The sauce was nice and really came out well on the meat, while the vegetables still tasted a bit of ginger. I've never eaten this in a restaurant (though I've heard of it, obviously) so I can't say how it compares, but as an at-home stir-fry it was great!

Chicken and Soba Noodle Stir Fry
For Asian food cuisine purists, what I did here is probably a major faux pas: mixing a Chinese-style stir-fry sauce with Japanese noodles. But whatever; it turned out good. You can find soba noodles in the Asian section of your supermarket. If you can only find them pre-packaged with flavoring, do what I did and throw out the packets.

Spicy Rice Noodles with Pork
Cutting the carrots into teeny strips was a bit more annoying (and took longer) than I'd thought, so I suppose you could just chop up your vegetables like usual. But this way it has the whole 'look how much work I put into your stir-fry, jerk, you better make it worth my while' vibe to it.
